Nomads Reserves 0 Whalley Range 7

Cheshire Football League Division One

Nomads Reserves eight game winning run came to spectacular end on Saturday as Whalley Range crushed the young Nomads team 7-0.

From the first whistle the visitors dominated the game, rhe hugely impressive Daniel Herrernan running the show up front and midfielder Tim Kinsella given an easy day to hit an impressive hat-trick.

After two close games against Whalley Range this season the scoreline came as a huge wake up call to Nomads with a Semi Final next week at home to Parklands.

Manager Callum Davies commented on a hugely disappointing day.

“Safe to say Saturday was pretty much a horror show, one to forget and have to move on to the next one. FairPlay to Whalley Range they fort better than us in every department. Wish them all the best for promotion as they have a strong group of players.

We have a semi final next week and will do everything we possible can to have a strong finish to what’s been a positive first season back in charge at the the club.

The players owe themselves and the coaching staff and strong performance”
