Cheadle Heath Nomads is an FA Charter Standard football club and, as such, we are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all, so that people can watch and participate in football in a relaxed, safe and secure atmosphere.
Bullying of any kind is wholly unacceptable at Cheadle Heath Nomads Football Club. If bullying does occur – whether amongst our playing/coaching staff, or our spectators – all club members, parents and fans should be able to TELL and know that incidents will be dealt with swiftly and effectively.
We are a TELLING club. This means that anyone who is aware that bullying is taking place is expected to tell the Club’s Welfare Officer or any committee member. This includes cyberbullying and trolling. There is a growing trend for bullying to occur online (social networking sites, tweets, chat rooms) or via texts.
However it takes place, bullying can have a devastating effect on a person’s mental and physical wellbeing. No one deserves to be a victim of bullying, and everybody has the right to be treated with respect. Every one connected with Cheadle Heath Nomads should be assured that we ALWAYS take an uncompromising stance on bullying and aggressive behaviour. Simply, it will not be tolerated and will ALWAYS be acted upon.
