Nomads and Georgians fought out a 3-3 draw at the Proseal Stadium tonight. The game was well contested with both sides playing at a good tempo.
Nomads opened the scoring with a fine Charlie Mulgrew finish before Georgians levelled through ex Nomads winger George Blackwell.

Both sides had opportunities in a very even first half before Kyle Foley once again gave Nomads the lead. They couldn’t hold in though as Callum Campbell equalised for Georgians just before the interval

Georgians took the lead almost immediately from kick off when Blackwell found himself through in goal and chipped Alex Fowell for the second time in the match.
Both sides made several substitutions but the tempo of the game stayed high. Georgians could have extended their league but wayward finishing kept it down to just the one.

Nomads took the opportunity to introduce a couple of the under 18 squad, Luca Navarro and George Buckingham to the first team. Navarro enjoyed his time on the pitch and set up Foley for the equaliser while Buckingham had a cameo appearance on the right side

Nomads energy kept them pushing to the end but neither side could make any more headway and the game finished 3-3

Both teams will have got a lot out of the game and a draw was a fair reflection on the night.

thanks to all at Georgians for the game and best of luck for the season.
