The points were shared at the Proseal stadium today with a late Kyle Foley goal saving Nomads blushes and keeping the unbeaten run intact

The first meeting between the clubs started with the home team in the front foot and they could have scored in the first minute but Craig Coates was unable to finish from close range

Nomads were doing their best to keep possession and not allow the visitors to settle but could not make their dominance count as Foley and McLaughlin both failed to take advantage when in good positions

Nomads did take the lead however when Will Shawcross chipped the keeper from 30 yards to continue his good scoring run.

This seemed to wake up the visitors however and they began to impose themselves more in the Nomads third and got themselves level before half time with a free header from a corner.
The visitors were probably just getting into the match when the first half ended with the teams tied at 1-1

FC Isle of Man came out for the second half and began to take control of the game. Nomads could not replicate their first half performance and were soon behind for the first time in the game. A poor pass from midfield allowed the visitors a run on goal  and the finished comfortably past Alex Fowell

The Nomads stopper was to be a key figure in the game however as the Ravens applied constant pressure to the Nomads goal and only some superb saves from the Nomads keeper and last ditch defending prevented the score being much more

There was to be a sting in the tail though as a fine knock on by Danny McLaughlin was picked up by Kyle Foley who finished superbly to make it 2-2 with minutes left to play.
There was half chances for both teams as the game came to an end but it finished 2-2

Provably a fair result given the dominance of either half by both teams but they will both feel like they let a couple of points slip away

Next up we face another newcomer to the league Rocester at home next Saturday.
