Nomads reserves continue their fine run and pick up 3 more points against Newton Athletic in the Cheshire league first division. Goals from Owen Adam’s, Harry Shipton and George Howarth secured the 3 points.

Callum Davies gives us his summary of the game

The fine run of form for nomads reserves continues!

Nomads start slow with some poor passes in and through midfield becoming risky. Not getting closer to second balls prove costly, as Newton’s 10 latches onto a direct ball before slotting into the net past keeper jake Garside.

After half an hr nomads start to play there way into the game. Owen Adams taps home from a cross to make it 1-1 at the break. Nomads really couldn’t handle the Newton number 10 and during the the second half really did well to nullify anything that was thrown at them.

A really strong and professional performance in the second half saw nomads take all 3 points.

Stunning strike from Harry Shipton from 25 yards makes it 2-1 before George Howarth rounding the keeper to make it 3-1.

Nomads next game is Moore UTD as we look to build on our fine run of form ⚽️??
