After the game we got the thoughts of Manager Jake Davies:

We are really pleased with taking a point in the manner we did, we felt in the basis of chances we were thoroughly deserved of at least a point.

The lads have adapted so well to apply the game plan we wanted today, they’ve worked incredibly hard and applied all aspects and got their just rewards.

The front players were so effective off the ball, Kyle and Kieran were so good up front. They put their cbs under pressure at the right times and broke behind them numerous times, we were a constant threat all game.

Considering playing a back to from game isn’t our style, we played the conditions so well and taking 2 points off the champions elect is no bad showing. When we are at our best we are a top side in this division and we now have to challenge ourselves to be more consistent, I’m hopeful we’ll start to see the fruits of this as the group is brilliant to work with.

Tonight was deserved and I’ll back our players to the hilt, they want to improve every day, I’m confident we’ll achieve something special over the next 12-18 months.”
