Cheadle Heath Nomads was formed immediately after the First World War in 1919 and has provided a solid launchpad for the careers of some famous names in the game, including ex-Manchester City and Nottingham Forest full-back, Colin Barrett and Everton legend Harry Catterick, a former Toffees player and widely regarded as one of that club’s most successful-ever managers.
